Locating your truck in Vancouver
For a Vancouver request, distinguish a street address from a highway location. At a delivery building, give the commercial vehicle entrance and the loading position; the office entrance may not be the access a repair vehicle needs.
Local route and access context
In Vancouver, a highway number may need a street name to make the location clear. Highway 1 landmarks include McGill Street, Hastings Street and Boundary Road/Grandview Highway, while Highway 99 follows streets through the city. For a truck repair request, include your direction of travel and nearest exit or cross street. At a delivery site, add the business name and the specific vehicle entrance shown on your delivery instructions.
- Which highway or street are you on, and what is the nearest exit or cross street?
- If you are at a delivery site, what is its name and vehicle entrance?

Before the provider sets a service window
Tell the provider whether the truck is loaded, coupled to a trailer or waiting for a delivery appointment. Include the contact who can arrange site access and identify who can authorize the quote. If the unit moves, update its location before the provider travels.
The provider must confirm that the exact location and requested work are within their service area. A city listing does not establish an arrival time, and submitting a request does not reserve a technician.
